VOLT Terms of Service

Effective: August 26, 2026

1. Service

VOLT is a software extension and related account, licensing, update and cloud-content service for creative workflows. Features may change as the product evolves.

2. Accounts and licenses

You are responsible for your account credentials. A valid paid subscription may be required to use commercial features. License keys are linked to the purchasing account and may be limited to the number of devices included in the active plan.

3. Subscription access

The initial VOLT Pro commercial plan is designed at $15 per month with two device slots. Future higher-priced tiers may provide four device slots. Billing terms shown at checkout will control once payment integration is enabled.

4. Third-party services

Some optional features may connect to third-party APIs using credentials you provide. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms, pricing and privacy practices.

5. Updates and protected content

VOLT may require supported software versions for security, compatibility or protected cloud content. Secure assets may be delivered using short-lived links and local caching. Attempts to bypass license, integrity or access controls may result in access being restricted.

6. Acceptable use

Do not redistribute paid assets, share license credentials beyond permitted devices, reverse engineer access controls for unauthorized use, or use VOLT in violation of applicable law.

7. Availability

We aim to keep account and cloud services available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Offline grace periods may be offered for licensed clients.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VOLT is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated at purchase. Always maintain backups of projects and media before installing software or updates.

9. Changes

Material changes to these terms will be presented with a new effective date. Continued use after an applicable change may require acceptance of the updated terms.

VOLT Privacy Policy

1. Data we process

The VOLT service may process account information such as name and email, subscription and license status, device identifiers stored as hashes, activation timestamps, security/integrity events, and release-download activity.

2. Why we process it

We use this information to authenticate accounts, enforce device limits, validate licenses, deliver protected content and updates, secure the service, troubleshoot issues and provide customer account features.

3. Third-party API keys

Optional creative integrations may require API keys supplied by you. Third-party services process requests under their own privacy policies. VOLT subscription pricing does not include those providers' usage charges.

4. Service providers

VOLT currently uses hosted infrastructure for authentication, database, private file storage and server functions. The infrastructure may be migrated as the commercial platform evolves.

5. Security

We use access controls, hashed device identifiers, signed activation/runtime tokens, private storage and short-lived download links as part of the current security architecture.

6. Retention and account actions

Account and licensing records are retained as needed to operate the service, support subscriptions, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. Device slots can be deactivated through the customer portal.

7. Your choices

You can update basic profile information, manage devices and request password recovery through the customer portal. Additional privacy requests will be handled through the support channel provided with the commercial release.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the service, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
